Nairobi, Kenya's capital, is a vibrant hub of diverse tourism experiences, offering everything from adventure sports to cultural, birding, and agro-tourism opportunities. The Ministry of Tourism & Wildlife, through the Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA), has conducted quality audits and capacity-building sessions in accommodation and catering establishments across Kenya. TRA has awarded various establishments with quality marks: Gold, Silver, and Bronze.

The upcoming. Joint awards ceremony will bring together tourism stakeholders from Nairobi, Kiambu and Kajiado celebrating with an exhibition, leadership conference and Awards Ceremony with a Food Safari showcasing the 9 different circuits of Kenya.

This event supports Kenya's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), Vision 2030, and the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially regarding Small and Medium Tourism Enterprises (SMTEs).
